Friday
No school on Friday. I had grand visions of Gaby and Lydi and their 3 friends playing quietly while Owen napped and Taylor studied while I happily worked on some long overdue quilting projects. Ha, ha and ha.
Saturday
Donate blood - check

Sunday
Get new calling of Nursery Leader. Bah.
Spend 2nd and 3rd hour in nursery learning the ropes, luckily it was a calm and mellow day. Only 2 escapees, 1 food fight, and 2 criers.
Attend a farewell for a missionary going home to Utah. Thank you Elder Sumin for chopping all the wood that Herb the crooked tree trimmer guy left behind. We'll miss you.
Attend a special fireside given by Elder Neuenschwander of the Seventy. Jerry sang in a quartet and my parents came along. It was great especially when Owen loudly stated during Elder Neuenschwander's talk, "THAT GUY'S A PIRATE!"

Fab-u-lous. You know you can always count on at least ONE of your kids to say something rad at any given moment. 10 points to Owen.
So the snow came tumbling down? I'm assuming that's why everyone was home? I won't mention that we were all wearing shorts and hanging out on the deck. Because that would be rude.
Nursery Leader? AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSOME.
It DID snow, but it wasn't a blasted Snow Day. Teacher Inservice.
Do make sure you pack shorts for Christmas, you never know when a tropical blast will hit the Eastern sea board.
Not so much on the Nursery Leader.
