Elementary Elections

Yesterday the girls' elementary school had a presidential election, complete with "I voted" stickers and voting booths.

Lydia said she voted for John McCain because Cael and Erica (who sit at her table) both agreed that Barack Obama didn't have enough experience to be the next Commander in Chief.

Gaby said she voted for Rack-a-Bama because he is handsome and presumably because his name is way more fun to sing.

To each his/her own, I look forward to continuing the political debate around the dinner table.

And from henceforth he shall be known as Rack-a-Bama in the Rawlins household.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love your kids?

You Racked the vote, Gabster! What a maverick.

I knew I liked Gaby! I have been walking around with a stupid perma-grin on my face all day.

Go Rack-a-Bama!

Too funny!
Jake did that at p.s. but a bit different, he voted for Batman, which tied "rack o bama" for 3rd. The winner of the election was BARBIE, 2nd was Santa, 3rd- above, 4th ?, 5th McCain, and 6th Elmo!

Just want to add that I would totally have voted for Santa if he were on the ticket. What better way to stimulate the economy than to have Christmas all year?

Zach said he too had to vote and he voted proudly for Barrack McCain! LOL!
