Gaby and Lydi rediscovered the game Memory during Grandma and Grandpa Kilgore's visit this weekend. I think, in all, they played at least 247 games of Memory. I tried playing it with them last night for Family Home Evening. Lydi was unbeatable and I realized after our third game that she has memorized every crease, knick, tear, discoloration of the backs of the cards and their matching pair.
So, these animal memory cards have been scattered all over the house since Friday. Owen loves to pick them up and crumple them (he's my secret weapon to throw Lydi off her game). Just a bit ago I came upon this scene and thought it was too funny. I determined that Owen spent WAY too much time with Grandma K over the past few days. As we all know, she LOVES her puns. That is very funny, and actually ironic... My mom gave Chase the Little People A-Z Zoo for Christmas, and Chase barfed all over the base (including in the speaker) and on ONE animal -- you guessed it, the YAK! These cousins...
