By some stroke of luck, only one other guy was in the lounge and he was rapidly speaking Chinese on his cell and seemed very occupied and the TV was off, so I tuned into Nick Jr. to Gaby's delight. The appointment lasted closer to 2 hours, due to needing brake pads/routers (being able to stop is important, right?) The kids were great thanks to the Nick Jr. coma and 45 pounds of goldfish crackers (none of which were smashed into the carpet!) and the very patient Chinese Pediatric Cardiologist. Really, how many times do you think he's going to have an opportunity to veg with Dora and Diego. He'll be a better doctor now that he's able to relate to his patients.
So that was the excitement for the morning. Here are some pics of Owen and his hat. He's in training for the summer, which seems sooooooo far away.

I love the pics! And the morning sounds very funny. Thank goodness for fishies and Nick Jr.
p.s. Chase had never heard the word accoutrement...
Jerry is always using big words and I feel like I only ever use little words, so I like to throw some out there when I get the chance. How's the hair BTW - did you get a new do?
Not new. I kept it the same because I want to grow it out. Again. I did, however, have my SIL put in some more dark pieces, so it's a little darker and I love it.
Chase uses big words, too. I think we always end up trying to find out who PRONOUNCES it correctly. He always uses pronounciations that sound British. And I laugh at him. Then we go to dictionary.com to find out that we're both right. Obnoxious! Just once in my life I would like to be right...
You are a Kilgore and therefore you are always right, sorry Chase.
Mike uses big words, but most often incorrectly. And he goes on "word kicks", where he'll have a word of the week that I've never heard him use before, and all of a sudden is used at least 5 times a day. For example, ATYPICAL. Unfortunately, he was using it when he really meant to say TYPICAL, which bugged the crap out of me. When I gently informed him of the correct usage of this word, he just started to use it MORE FREQUENTLY in the INCORRECT form just to further irritate the crap out of me. And of course he insists that he's "right". I don't know what it is, but this Kilgore proficiency in word usage is a blessing AND a curse, ya know? And also, Mike didn't know that the boy version of Erin was spelled with Aa's... as in Aaron. Wierd.
I like combine big words: like "you" and "all" to make "y'all"
Oh my gosh, I've been in the U.S toooooo long!
Love the hat by the way. Can't wait to meet this "big" guy in person
