1) I love to swim. Like really swim, workouts in the pool. I could stay in the water 3-4 hours a day if I had the time. I love smelling like chlorine b/c it means I worked out. It's about the only thing I can claim to be better at than Jerry, swimming that is, not smelling.
2) I have a dog named Max who is super cool even though I can't stand when he barks at the mailman. Dude, it's the same guy every day!
3) I love butter. Not just, ya I like butter on toast. I LOVE butter. I can admit to eating it plain off a knife or spoon. Jerry is totally disgusted by this quirk.
4) I love to cook. I love, love, love to cook for other people and have them tell me how great it is. I have a slight pride issue when it comes to cooking. I do not cook low cal, see #3.
5) I watch Project Runway.
6) I am a CPA, sortof. Technically I am currently listed a DELINQUENT at the CA Board of Accountancy, but I will remedy that in the coming months and update my status to INACTIVE.
7) I was a lifeguard in high school.
8) I was a waitress at Bob Evans.
9) My friend once "borrowed" the keys to another friend's car and we crashed it into the back of a JC Pennys. Luckily no one was injured.
10) I have 4 cute kids.
11) I have one cute husband. He is the hardest working person I know and he really can do anything.
12) I love to quilt. Well, I like to make rag quilts. I tried real quilting last year with a group and I was totally frustrated when I couldn't do it perfect on the first try. I love to pick out fabrics and make quilts to give away, even though my gifts are always way belated.
13) We flipped a house in Poway, CA when the market was smokin' hot.
14) I love my family. My parents live 25 minutes away, it's why we moved here. I love them and the kids love Monka and Nana. I have 1 brother, he has one super cute, hilarious wife and 2 boys. I love my in-laws, all 15 of them plus 9 nephews and 2 nieces. I love my huge extended family, and lots of them live in Iowa.
15) I love to read.
16) Sometimes I'm a great mom, sometimes I am not.
17) I love fires in the fireplace. This winter all of our firewood has been buried under a foot of snow. So, even though it's been the 2nd worst winter EVER here, we've had exactly 0 fires in the fireplace.
18) I love junk food. I will eat that over most healthy things on any given day. I do love fresh fruits and veggies, but I'd take a bag of Oreoes any day.
19) I have a habit of always setting my parking bark. I don't have the same habit of always remembering to release it.
20) I am stubborn. And I have a tendency to do dumb things. So, I learn a lot the hard way.
21) We are not planners. We're very much spur of the moment kind of people.
22) I was accident prone as a kid. Broke my collar bone twice, face planted off my bike one summer (20 stitches), my neighbor checked me with his hockey stick while playing street hockey (15 stitches), face planted off my friend's porch (plastic surgery consult, no stitches), stepped on a needle that got lodged in my foot bone, stepped on a rusty nail (tetnus shots). Those were the ones that required medical attention anyway.
23) I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 6 years ago. It has changed my life.
24) I love the internet.
25) I love being creative and making things.
26) I was a voted most athletic in my Senior class.
27) I swam Div I for 3 weeks - they kicked my butt and I quit to pursue other less productive activities.
28) I want to go back to school so I can feel smart again.
29) I don't have my ears pierced.
30) I've never had a pedicure. I don't have feet issues, just lack of time and why pay when you can DIY?
31) I can't play basketball. I have absolutely no natural talent or sense when it comes to this sport. That frustrates me. I reluctantly agreed to play church ball in SD and I still have a jammed finger. Just cause you're tall don't mean you got game. My mom was a good bball player, but I didn't get those genes. Her tidiness gene skipped me, too.
32) I am a pile-er. I have lots of piles of organized chaos. I do lots of things at once and rarely complete any one of them in a given day. Jerry's the opposite. He'll stay on task til the work is done and done right, no time for eating, breathing or anything.
33) I am a blog-o-phile. I love to read other people's blogs. I used to love to read People magazine, but blogs are so much better. A) they are free and B) it's real life. I have a lot of best friends who don't even know I exist. Creepy or cool?
34) My brother and I used to fight over the TV Guide crossword puzzle, sometimes we still do.
35) I love Sudoku. Do you?
36) I love Harry Potter, but not as much as Taylor.
37) I love the Hershey Pantry. Their checkerboard cake (red velvet and vanilla) is about the best thing I've ever eaten in my life and it's not even chocolate! But they never have it on the menu when I'm there. Their Oreo Lush is the second best thing I've ever eaten and it's all chocolate.
38) I like sushi, rolls anyway. I haven't had the guts to try the real stuff.
39) I learned how to make egg rolls from a shipmate of Jerry's. They are soooo good.
40) I've been in a hot air balloon.
41) I hate bad dreams that feel so real you wake up wondering if they actually happened.
42) I think people think I'm crazy.
43) I love'd' being pregnant.
44) I love watching funny movies or the Office with my brother. No one thinks anything is funnier or laughs harder than Matt. Taylor is just like him.
45) There's about 100 other more productive things I should be doing right now.
46) I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout in elementary school.
47) I met Jerry in a high school German class, I was 14.
48) I broke Lydia's leg (we fell) when she was 8 months old.
49) I've worn glasses since I was 5, contacts since 14.
50) I won third place in a Mother's Day greeting card contest when I was 11. The prize was a dictionary, which happened to be missing most of the "p" section. How lame is that!
51) I am very sarcastic, so are most of the people in my family.
52) I am not very patient, in lots of ways. This is something I am working on/have been working on/will be working on for some time.
53) I love Hershey's chocolate.
54) My favorite Blizzard is PB Cup in chocolate ice cream. Not all DQ's are created equal. We have several in Cedar Rapids and I have my favorites.
55) I love going for bike rides as a family on the trails here in CR. Our route always takes us by DQ.
56) I have never seen an R rated movie... just kidding, but I don't watch them anymore, ever, no exceptions.
57) I miss San Diego.
58) I like Cedar Rapids, but not the pot holes or the winter.
59) I hate garage sales.

61) I rarely pay attention to details, though I claim to be a detail oriented person.
62) I do our taxes and manage the books of our financial empire.
63) I love the youth of our church, except when they're texting in class.
64) I don't text.
65) I got married at 19 (sealed for time and all eternity at 27).
66) I don't require a lot of sleep anymore, 6 hours is about perfect.
67) I don't know how to drive a manual transmission car. Jerry tried to teach me in his dad's truck many moons ago, it didn't go well.
68) I've been to Disneyland but not Disneyworld. Disneyland is NOT the happiest place on earth.

71) I am terrible at Guitar Hero *plink* *plink*
72) One of my most favorite movies is Empire of the Sun.
73) I ate 37 Hershey Kisses today, so far. I am such a sucker for "fill-in-the-blank" candy. Gotta buy Easter candy a whole week before Easter, so I eat all the bags and buy more, only to then eat all that my kids get in their baskets. I have a problem. I think Deb and Anna had fan-freakin-tastic blogs about eating candy last year.
74) I got to see U2's Zooropa Tour in the front row. It was amazing.
75) I lost my keys awhile ago. I HATE when I do dumb things, especially when they cost $$.
76) I love going to church on Sundays.
77) Matt and I fought a lot growing up. I once kicked a hole through his bedroom room. And he was laughing at me the whole time. Jerk!
78) I 'used to be' super gullible.
79) I love being busy, but I hate that we're so busy.
80) I love to laugh so hard that your face hurts. Kilgores-think Newlywed game Christmas 2005.
81) Aladdin was my favorite movie in 1993, I think I could quote the entire movie.
82) I wish it was warm... 45 would be considered warm at this point.
83) I hate that I always wake up 10 minutes before my alarm and then feel like I can go back to sleep, but usually turn the alarm off and then wake up 10 minutes late.
84) I love NPR.
85) (One of my) Most embarrassing moment(s)- Early Saturday morning swim practice, went to the locker room to relieve myself - I don't pee in the pool - and was promptly locked out from the pool deck. No towel, t-shirt, piece of paper towel to be found. I had to walk in my suit, cap and goggles through the high school hallway to return via the main pool entrance. Oh yeah, the entire Men's Wrestling team was in the hall waiting for their bus AND I was about 7 months pregnant.
86) I am an Ugly Mom.
87) I have naturally curly hair.
88) 3,028,712 -- my rank on the Espn Men's Bball tourney brackets.

90) It's April and it has snowed 3 times this month. I loathe winter.
91) I chew my fingernails.
92) When I'm stressed, the same spot in my shoulder/back knots up in a tight painful ball. That's when I call in my personal certified message therapist, Bird Kilgore, or so I wish.
93) My dog as a kid was named Muffet, as in Little Miss Muffet. She had a pork chop baby and an underbite.
94) I set out thermostat at 63 in the winter. It's a little chilly. but that's what sweaters and socks and slippers and blankets are for.

97) Next year I'm co-charing the Book Cart reading program for the PTA at Lydia's (and Gaby) school. When we lived in CA, I was PTA mom extraordinaire, newsletter, bake sales, carnivals, etc. Totally burnt out. So, now I'm pacing myself.
98) I'm going on 3 years in my current calling as Young Women's President in our ward.
99) My middle name is Rebecca.
100) Too much pressure to think of something good to end with. I can't wait to read your list of 100 things!
60) I love french fries.

I totally laughed out loud to your #80!
That was a fabulous blog!! I can't wait to do my 100 blog!! Of course, I have no idea how many blogs I've actually done, so I'll probably just do it sometime Mike's not home, or when I'm bored to tears...Good luck with your triathlon training!!
I started my list a month ago. It's actually post #98, I just couldn't stand having it sitting there anymore.
That was hilarious. I was laughing out loud. Thanks for sharing. I really don't think I have 100 interesting things to share about my self.
And how can you not like garage sales when your BFF is Holli Weaver? :)
I posted my 100 things on facebook! I'm too quirky to share it with the whole world! Just friends and even some of them may use the 100 against me! LOL
LOL Sara!! Except I must absolutely object to #86 - you are totally NOT an ugly mom!! Kudos for making that list. I loved reading it.
#80 had me, too. I can still picture Chase looking like an Owl...
LOVE IT! So entertaining to read! You are so great! What a fun person!
I do the same thing with my parking brake!
That is so funny! I totally used to read People magazine but now I don't because instead I'm wasting my time reading people's blogs! I never would've guessed there was someone out there with that in common.
Was this last week's Office not HILARIOUS?!!
Thanks for sharing!
