Are we there yet?

I can't even imagine how many times I'm going to hear that phrase over the next few days. Yesterday we drove to Iowa City to get the car serviced. After about 10 minutes, Lydia says, "Are we there yet?" in her most irritated angry-eyed voice. "It's SOOOOO far!"

Great. If 25 minutes constitutes "far" then Saturday is going to be a long day. When I explained that this was nothing compared to Saturday, she demanded that we fly in an airplane.

Happy trails everyone!

Ah, Lydia and Cameron are on the same page. Poor Lydia. Do her feet/legs still fall asleep in the car, too? That makes for a tough day.
Cameron's newest phrase is, "This is a really long day," when we're in the car for more than, say, 4 minutes. I can only imagine how it's going to be on Saturday. Oh well. It's for a good cause, right?
We got Owen's shirt, done...it's cute! And I think it will be plenty roomy for him.
