Happy Ugly Mother's Day!

It wouldn't really be Mother's Day without homemade cards and gifts from the kids, heck, I even got breakfast in bed this morning. But this bouquet from Lydia was my favorite.

Each flower has a chore written on it which I can redeem at any time and as often as I like. And then, as if to remind me of my Ugly Mom status, this gem was hidden amongst the chore flowers:

"Even though you know I say I don't like you sometimes, deep down I still really love you."

That Lyd. What a character. At least she always tells it like it is!!!

This morning before school Hudson for some reason pulled your family Christmas photo off the fridge (it's in one of those magnetic photo pockets) and took it with him to talk to Keaton when he (Keaton) woke up. From my seat on the throne in the hall bathroom (because since when do Ugly Moms ever get any privacy in the bathroom???), I heard, "...and this is Gaby, and there's Uncle Jerry, and Aunt Sara, and um, that's Taylor, and..." I think H is looking forward to August :)

So cute. I've never heard of a chore coupon you could redeem more than once. What a great deal! Glad you had a nice ugly mother's day!
