The First Sunday in May

Sara and the kids went to church, made homemade rolls and strawberry jam.

Jerry flew First Class to Washington D.C. to meet with a contingent of high ranking Egyptian Naval officers.
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Secret Service detail shared his plane .... in coach.

What did you do today?

I am so jealous (of the rolls and the jam, and maybe the plane ride just a tad).

I thought it was cool when I shared a plane with David Plouffe (Obama's campaign manager), but Rahm Emanuel is hands down better than that. I love that Jerry was in First Class and they were in coach -- just awesome.

Well let's see...it was rainy and miserable here, so we sat around on the couch, and I resisted tearing my face off all day, because of the itching that I've come to realize is probably allergies...something I've never experienced before.

Anyway, yeah, we just kind watched Emma roll around on the floor.

So allergies = zebra flu?

We celebrated Makena's third birthday at the beach. She's not a puppy anymore, so that's officially something to celebrate.

'Glad to see pics of the kids enjoying the first fruit of the season!

Alyssa, by the way, I am not reading your blog this week. I saw the warning...and I will abide...and steer clear!

Sara, we went to church on Sunday and then played "Guess Who" for what seemed like HOURS

Just a typical day here...zzzzzzzz

I'd take homemade rolls and jam anyday over...ok, maybe not. I'm impressed you made jam--never tried it! Hope Jerry brought back cool "gifts"!
