Weather Alert - Ice, Snow, Wind, etc.

No church today due to blizzard conditions. This is the third church cancellation for the winter. It's been 11 days since the last foot of snow and today we're supposed to get 10" or so today. And we're lucky enough to have an inch of ice underneath all the snow from last night's ice storm. It's madness.

Last weekend the kids wanted to go sledding but it was -20 wind chill or something crazy like that, so we didn't want to go far from home. Our yard isn't really suitable for sledding, unless you're up for extreme sledding, dodging trees and such. Jerry decided to turn our deck stairs into a toboggan run. The videos are of the girls last weekend. And ever the engineer, he's made upgrades and improvements to it in the past week. Now Lydi can go down the chute, off the ramp and up the slide on the swing set. They love it.

WARNING: Taylor & her friend took all the video, so if anyone is prone to motion sickness (think Blair Witch Project) you best skip viewing these.

That looks like incredible fun. I would love a day of snow. Just a day though.
