1) This is a picture that Lydia drew of Jerry and I at the swim meet Saturday. Please note that I'm convinced Jerry paid her $5 to make it look like he was winning. Also too, I love that I'm wearing red lippy and flashing a mega-watt smile.
2) Owen - he's all kinds of hilarious. His song of the day Saturday was "Pants on the ground." I'll have to get a video clip of him singing it. His made-up song of the day yesterday was "5 More Poops."
3) Gaby said to me, "Mom, we should call Sylvan. Because they say that they can help kids who are having frust-er-ations with their homework. 'They make homework easy!' We should maybe have Taylor call them."
4) On watching the new series "Life" on the Discovery Channel: It was really fascinating. And obviously with the title 'Life' there's bound to be lots of mating and nuzzling and birthing and fornicating. There was one part with lizards, I think, and they were getting busy and Lydia and Gaby were like "What-are-they-doing?!?!?!" And before anyone could answer Lydia shouts, "Oh, he just wants a ride." Which sent me into fits of giggles.
5) It snowed on Saturday the first day of Spring. That was a fantastically cruel joke.
6) Lydia's latest invention is a working tinkertoy elevator that lifts a platform of penguins from certain death over a firey pit.
7) It's spring break week and Jerry (sans family) just left for San Diego.

I think Jerry also paid Lydi to make it look like he has hair.
Next time we have a homework assignment along the lines of the leprechaun trap I am calling Lydi for suggestions.
As for the singer in your house, at least he wasn't singing "I want to move it, move it!" during the Sacrament yesterday, like Keaton was. :)

ARe your kids seriously that funny all the time? I leave lame comments, I know. All I say is "so funny" or "so cute" or "hysterical". But I really am sincere:)
