Pictures pretty much sum up the landscaping project at this point, one big muddy mess. Jerry is thoroughly enjoying his toy for the weekend. It rained most of the day on Friday, so when he got home and started playing around with it, he was sliding all over the place. I thought I was going to watch him fall over the back retaining wall into the forest.
We've gotten three walls mostly done and have 4 pallets of stone still in the driveway, so we're about halfway done. Our plan changes as we go, but hopefully the end result will be a usable yard that's not a mess. I REALLY want a portion of it to be grass, but the moles and grubs and trees and forest are obstacles to keeping it nice. Dang those pesky moles. I need a little Caddyshack intervention, I think.

Ok, you're going to have to explain the order of those pictures, I'm confused. Did he take out your play structure with that CAT? That would be totally awesome.
Nope. He and I carried it. I think it weighs at least a ton. He has gotten it stuck once and there were a few hairy moments where he was uncomfortably close to the back retaining wall. He and the CAT are still in once piece. Owen is in love with it, he calls it Daddy's car.
Um, okay. I just put Miles and Cameron in one of those Flat-rate USPS boxes and they're on their way! I hope the CAT is still there!
I can't wait to see the end result!
That is unbelievable. Totally not what I was picturing. Jerry really can do anything.
