Road trippin' that is.
Anyone who knows us pretty well, knows that Jerry is something of a free spirit. He doesn't have an ounce of long term planning-ese in his body. He doesn't like to be constrained by time demands or other people's time demands. He's a spur of the moment kind of guy. It should then be no surprise that we are leaving for summer vacation tomorrow.
And we may be seeing 15 states on our trip. I do know for certain that my keister will be firmly planted on the beaches of North Carolina July 26-Aug 2nd anything that happens prior to that is completely out of my hands.
It might be fun to play a little "Where in the World (or contiguous 48 states) are the Kilgores?" I'll do my darnedest to post at least a picture of where we are and what we be seein' over the next 2 weeks.
Happy trails.

Is Georgia included in those 15 states you plan to drive through? I know we're not exactly on the way, but we do have a cute baby to dangle in front of you as an incentive :) Plus, you'd for sure get here in time to see our retaining wall in its current state, which is to say, sliding down the hill and taking the fence, sod and plants with it. It would probably make you glad that Jerry is cheap and handy, even if your walls don't get finished until 2010. And you know, since Jer is known for fixing things wherever he goes, I've got some light fixtures he could put up for me :) Pretty please???
No, I get her first! Texas MUST be on your list, right?!
You already lived near her, and Jerry thinks it's fun to come fix things like garage doors at your house. You Jerry/Sara hog, you!
HEY! Do I need to sit BETWEEN YOU TWO?? Besides, I GET TO SEE THEM tomorrow, and you don't! Nanner-Nanner-Pooh-Pooh!
SOOOO NOT FAIR!!!
Sara, I love that you've already left the premises, but we're all fighting over non-existent visits from you and your blog is still counting down the days until your vacation...
